Accounts

We come from a strong accounting and financial background, with a team of four accountants in the office currently.

We often inherit properties which have had accounting issues – rarely fraudulent, but often in a mess.  One of the first things we will do is unpick and reconcile your current accounting position which puts the building quickly onto a firm footing.  We will go back to the start of your current financial year and ensure we understand where each entry derives from ( we prefer taking properties over part way through a financial year so that we can undertake this process immediately, rather than starting a new year with a clean slate).

Our accounts are updated daily and payment runs are done weekly ensuring that there is no backlog of expenditure.

On an annual basis, we will work with you to put together a suitable budget for the building – we have no vested interest in making this anything other than the right level of annual expense for the property.

On a quarterly basis we will meet with you and run through the accounting position –   service charge income and arrears, expenditure and bank account reconciliation.  Accounts are always available at other times should you require them.
